Our Rating
This would be our last post on our stays at the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong over the summer. After the first two stays, we were so happy with the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong that it became our go-to staycation hotel. Although there were many other hotels and staycation package promotions, we just couldn’t find one that’s comparable to the service level plus the elite member benefits that we received at the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong.
The hotel did not disappoint us as our third and fourth stays were wonderful as well. And both stays were upgraded to the Premier Executive Suite but with a different layout.
A Larger Premier Executive Suite
On our third stay, we were upgraded to the executive suite facing the west side of the Victoria Harbour. It was a slightly larger suite with a super King-size bed and a bathroom with a glass window. Although this suite does not have the iconic corner window, we liked this layout even more. And we finally got the perfect spot to see the sunset.
The Perfect Sunset
We finally got our perfect sunset in this suite and it was almost magical. You would never get bored looking at that golden ray and the changing colour of the skies. We surely hope that you also enjoy watching the sunset video below.
Housekeeping from the Heart
We stayed for two nights on our fourth stay and were back to the executive suite with the normal layout. On the second day, housekeeping came to make up the room while we were out at breakfast. We were not sure what actually happened; but Ms. Bowie must have a very pleasant exchange with all the baby plushies and she brought two new friends to the gang. We greatly appreciate this heart-warming gesture from the housekeeping staff.
A Symphony of Lights At a Different Angle
No matter how many times we have seen the Victoria Harbour light show, it’s still an amazing show and undoubtedly one of the best light show in the world. And this time we took the video at a different angle to emphasize the panoramic view of the room.
Michelin-starred In-room Dining
We liked the food at Tin Lung Heen very much and we ordered dinner from them on both of our stays. On the third stay, we had the food delivered to the Club Lounge so that we could enjoy both the buffet and the delicious Cantonese dishes from Tin Lung Heen.
On our fourth stay, we had it delivered to the suite and have a small dining table set up next to the iconic corner window. This was truly a meal with a view.
Afternoon Tea at the Club Lounge
The Club Lounge was again moved down to Level 102 during our last stay. They served a slightly different tea sets here and we liked it even more than the one on Level 116. And Baby Lopei loved climbing up the afternoon tea stand.
This sums up our stays at the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong over the summer. We surely hope that we don’t need another staycation in Hong Kong. Hopefully things will get back to normal soon.
